About Us

Our history

Leicester Grammar School is a co-educational day school for children aged 10-18.  Founded in 1981 in Leicester City Centre, we are now based on a 75 acre site in Great Glen opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth II in 2008.

Our aims for our pupils

To develop the academic potential of each pupil.
To enrich the pupils' experience through music, sport and other activities.
To allow the moral and spiritual well-being of the pupil to grow.
To nurture the individual, in a co-educational school, with a Christian ethos.
