Simon Redman

Secretary: Vacancy see below
Treasurer: Rob Jameson [OL'00]
Chair
'After leaving LGS I studied Architecture at Newcastle Upon Tyne. From there I moved down to London for a year, then across to Norwich where I stayed for five years, achieving chartered status. In 2005 I moved to Newmarket, and live there still. I currently work in Cambridgeshire on a variety of projects across the Southeast of England, varying from substantial one-off private houses to large scale refurbishment and regeneration schemes. I've maintained close links with good friends from LGS and through my involvement with the OLs see a variety of less familiar faces year on year which is always highly entertaining’

Committee:
Chris King [Headmaster]   Katharine Douglas [OL ’92 / Staff]
Peter Handford [School Liaison] Lauren Dumford [OL ‘96]
Dave Roebuck [Staff] Richard Stephens [OL ‘04]
Katie England [OL Admin] Lisa Warren [OL ‘96]

The committee is keen to find new members. If you are interested in joining us, or helping us at an event, please contact us at oldleicestrians@leicestergrammar.org.uk.

Your School Needs You
The Old Leicestrian Committee meet 3 or 4 times a year at school to discuss/arrange events for the OL’s to run. We are registered with Companies House and have annual returns to complete. All members of the committee are registered as Trustees

The OLs work hard to preserve links between the school and its former pupils, to provide services for them, and to arrange events and get-togethers. We also give travel grants to former pupils working or volunteering abroad.

The Old Leicestrians are in urgent need of volunteers. Do you have the experience or the desire to help? We are looking for:

OL Secretary: to arrange & minute meetings, ensure all OL paperwork is up-to-date and liaise with the OL School Liaison Officer. Deal with Companies House over registering and deregistering of Trustees. Liaise with the Treasurer/School Office over post, annual returns etc.

Committee Members: to come to meetings, come up with ideas and move the OL’s forward.

If you would like to join us, please call 0116 259 1900 or email englandk@leicestergrammar.org.uk Without your help, the Old Leicestrians cannot continue to maintain the important links between former pupils and school.
