The Committee and the Trustees have a long history of supporting Old Leicestrians on
their travels. Whether it is on a gap year or later on in life, a variety of awards
have been presented to those looking to further the school's core values around the
world.
Previous OLs have had help with:
- Representing Rangers in Leicestershire at an international residential event
- Taking part in a Charity Challenge on the Inca Trail in Peru
- Going on Operation Raleigh in Namibia
- Coaching rugby in Fiji
- Working on children's projects in Romania
- studying Genetics in Montreal
Awards are made towards the end of each term, so if you wish to be considered for a
travel grant please apply in writing to the Committee as soon as possible.
Please note that due to high demand and limited funds, we are not always able to provide
assistance; those with clear objectives and budgets are more likely to be successful.
