St. Nicholas Hall: 7.00pm
We are delighted to welcome Protein to LGS - the only school on their professional tour of 'Border Tales'. A group of staff and students saw this production last term at Curve, and were incredibly impressed, so we are particularly thrilled that we are able to host a performance. Ostensibly a modern dance company, the work was so much more, combining dialogue, live music, dance and physical theatre in a witty and powerful verbatim piece about multi-cultural Britain, drawing on the performers’ experiences. The Scotsman, reviewing the production at The Fringe, gave it five stars and called it: “funny, thought-provoking and consistently entertaining”. We are delighted to be able to open this performance to parents, siblings and the general public. Seating is unreserved so you may choose to sit with your offspring - or not! The cost of tickets is £12 (plus booking fee): students may book without the booking fee via ParentMail, and those who saw the production with the school last term may attend for the reduced rate of £6 (see Mrs Harris for details).
