Provision is sometimes made for a later examination, but only for those who have already applied but were unable to sit in January due to illness. This is subject to places still being available.

Applications from able under-age candidates are also considered and there is provision for entry at other times of the year, particularly for those moving into the area, provided there are places available in the relevant year group.

Candidates with special needs (such as vision impairment or dyslexia) should inform the school when first making contact.

Sixth Form 2018

Entry to the Sixth Form is by interview, offers of a place being conditional upon the GCSE grades gained. The minimum entry grades are six GCSEs at grade 7, 7, 7, 6, 6, 6 (ideally in the subjects to be followed at A level).
